1. TEACHER MWEMA KATUNDU
Bilal Comprehensive School granted their long serving staff with a ticket sponsored by Alhaj Mohammed Jaffer of Hajj Caravan for pilgrimage to the house of Allah (swt).
Principal of the Temeke campus Mrs. Karim and her administrative team selected Teacher Mwema Katundu to take up the honour of being the guest of Allah (swt) having given her services to the school as a teacher for more than a decade. Teacher Mwema at present is the academic head of the primary school. The handing over function was also attended by the Africa Federation Chairman, Alhaj Anwarali Dharamsi and the Hon. Secretary, Alhaj Aunali Khalfan at Bilal Muslim Mission Centre in Temeke.
2. ABDUR RAZZAK RASHID BILAL
Bilal Muslim Mission of Tanzania Tanga Branch awarded their outstanding student from Hawza with a free ticket to Hajj. The donor has pledged to support the efforts of the Mission in seeing the success of the indigenous African students achieving higher Islamic knowledge in Tanzania.
This year the outstanding student is Abdur-Razzaq Rashid Bilal. Abdur- Razzak is in the 5th year of education and has achieved the highest position in the Terminal Exams.
3. ABDU NUR SLIM
Shiekh Abdu Nur Slim, is the Editor of the quarterly magazine “Sauti ya Bilal” and has been awarded the pilgrimage to Makah through Sheikh Dr. Murtadha Alidina. The donation is towards outstanding Missionary achievements in the Bilal Centres throughout Tanzania.
4. AMRI HASSANI MJEGEYA
Sheikh Amri Hassani Mjegeya of Ujiji, Kigoma saved Tshs: 2 million through agriculture over the years with the intention of performing pilgrimage to Makah. Bilal Muslim Mission of Tanzania having recognized his noble intentions approached Alhaj Mohamed Jaffer of Hajj Caravan and was granted a 50% discount on the ticket, the generous offer from Hajj Caravan. With the kind donation of the balance from Alhaj Kazim Alidina of ZamZam Stationeries, Sheikh Amri Hassani achieved the journey of his lifetime.
