We are pleased to send out this final update to our community members in Africa and overseas on the latest status of the construction of “Al Qa’eem” building. The last update with a progress report was issued in December 2013.
The above AFED building named after Imam of our time, Al Mahdi (ATFS) – “AL QA’EEM” is located on Plot 9 Jacaranda Road, Arusha city centre in Tanzania. The eight storey building consists of 24 flats (each floor has- two flats of 2 bedrooms and one flat of 3 bedrooms), a spacious covered terrace and two shops outlets on the ground floor for renting out.
The construction work of “Al Qa’eem” commenced in August 2012 after the Government and Town Council requirements for the site clearance and building permits etc. were completed. Since the last report in December 2013, the Project progressed smoothly, and it is now complete. Soft opening of the building is expected in the first week of September, 2014, Insha’allah.
This Housing Project is for members of our community in Arusha who are in need of a good with modern facilities accommodation, conveniently located in the city centre near our Mosque. As our community in Arusha is growing steadily, there is an increase need of housing for the young and upcoming families and for the new arrivals in Arusha from other towns/regions.
Information about Al Qa’eem Building:
Detailed information was circulated to all members of the Arusha Jamaat and also a notice was kept on the Jamaat’s notice board in the Mosque in May 2014, we are pleased to note the overwhelming enquiries were received from members about the flats, and the interest shown by members is encouraging.
