BILAL UGANDA – A BRIEF MONTHLY REPORT OF FEBRUARY 2017
We thank Allah (SWT) who gives us guidance and protection. Bilal Muslim of Ugnda continued to conduct different activities in the month of February, herewith below a brief report on these activities.
A seminar on the personality and contribution of Lady Fatemah (AS) towards Islam was conducted. The seminar was attended by a big numbers by women and girls.
The guest speaker was Ustadh Adam Sebyala; he reminded the gathering that Lady Fatimah (AS) was an excellent role Model to all Muslims women; he continued to say that she was the Holy Prophet’s daughter and served as the best daughter, best wife to her husband and best mother to her children at all times.
The Holy Prophet (SAWW) gave her the title Umme Abeeha which means mother of her father because of the good care she took for him.
Lady Fatimah (AS) was also known as Mujahidah which means she strived for the sake of Islam. She taught many Muslim ladies about Islam and served as the best example.
A delegation from Bilal Muslim Mission also visited Jinja Hauza and conducted Jumaa prayer there.
After the prayers the chief missionary of Bilal reminded the believers about their obligation towards Allah (SWT) especially that they should be prepared to meet their Lord all the time and make efforts in conducting good deeds.
In his final remarks he reminded the gathering that the Holy Prophet (SAWW) has left us with two weighty things which are obligatory upon us to follow, the Holy Book of Allah (SWT) and the Ahlulbayt (AS).
Bilal Uganda also conducted a special programme in which we commemorated the memorable contribution, steadfastness and sacrifice by Hazrat Abbas Ibn Ali Ibn Abi Talib (AS) in the battle of Karbala.
The weekly programmes are still on going and brothers and sisters are attending to these programs.
We have written the second syllabus of Islamic Religious Education to be taught in all branches of Bilal Uganda and these will be printed soon Insha’Allah.
We thank all who have enabled us to sustain our programmes, may Allah (SWT) reward them abundantly, Ameen.
